At Veho, we’re driving innovation and excellence in the automotive distribution and retail for passenger cars and commercial vehicles business in our five markets; Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden. Our commitment to quality and sustainability propels us forward as we shape the future of sustainable mobility. Now we are looking for an experienced Head of Group PMO (Project Management Office) to take the Veho Group development portfolio management to the next level, and ensure that we have efficient project management process and tools to prioritize the development needs and resources to reach our strategic targets as well as driving the group level strategy work process.

With us you will be working with Veho Group strategic project portfolio; you own the Group PMO process and tools and drive the improvement of project management maturity supporting the strategic business units at Veho. You will make sure that we have discipline in our PMO process and content by prioritizing the strategic projects and balancing the resource needs as well as monitoring and reporting the strategic project portfolio performance. Since our business is driven through Strategic Business Units (SBU), you work closely together with SBU development Heads to ensure the alignment of strategic initiatives, and execution capabilities supported by Veho Group. The Group PMO is also owner of the Veho Group strategy process which means that you will develop and drive the Group strategy work in close collaboration with Veho Group top management. You will report directly to Veho Group President and CEO. Your main working location is our HQ nearby Helsinki Airport, but hybrid work is possible.

Working with all mentioned above will be challenging, and there will be no boring moments, in other words, we take things seriously, but we have fun! Since you will be the only resource in Group PMO, of course utilizing the matrix organization, you need to be at the same time very hands-on and yet being able to see our operations from helicopter view. You will have the possibility to leave your mark on Veho’s development journey, and your contribution will be visible in our ways of working, thinking and building the future success. You will be rewarded attractively, and in addition to that we offer a wide selection of benefits (company car, occupational healthcare, insurance for free time activities, sports and lunch support, just to mention a few.)

In return we expect you to be a real, senior-level PMO professional. You have already established a PMO function in internationally operating organization(s), you know the challenges and how to overcome those. You have experience in PMO processes, tools and how to increase the project management maturity and measure the performance, and you can implement those practices company-wide. We want to use your real-life experience in becoming better in our operations, so strong track record in leading the PMO function needs to be visible in your CV. Holding a project management certificate or similar is seen as a plus. You know what it is to work with top management, and your influencing skills are exceptional also in English.

We are proud of our journey and plans going forward, and very happy to give more information about Veho, your potential new colleagues and our PMO function. Our current Head of Group PMO, Erik Lindbohm will be available for you by email erik.lindbohm@veho.fi or by phone +358 40 525 0052 27.5.2024 at 12-13EET and 30.5.2024 at 11-12 EET. Please drop a note or call, and let’s see if our paths would cross!
