Head of Logistic Services, Assistor

As part of Veho Group, Assistor Oy is one of the most trusted and dedicated supply chain solution provider for automotive spare parts logistics, operating in Finland, Baltics & Sweden.

We are now looking for an experienced Head of Logistic Services to execute Assistor’s strategy in the area of customer management and transportation service management. In this key position you'll be part of the Assistor management team and creating value for Assistor’s customers by ensuring high quality customer service and logistic solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading our customer service and deployment of customer specific logistic solutions.
  • Ensuring great customer experience, by developing services in cooperation with customers and together with warehouse operations.
  • Putting into practice our way of working where we ensure skilled workforce, personnel work well-being and satisfaction through good leadership.
  • Owner of the invoicing and business forecasting process.
  • Leading transportation solutions, including cooperation with selected partners.
  • Reaching customer based agreed quality levels and leading needed corrective actions / continuous improvement.
  • Company’s representative in operative meetings between customers and other partners.
  • Taking part in to contract negotiations.
  • Leading selected development programs to ensure profitability.
  • Planning and executing the company strategy, within your own responsibility area.

Do you recognize yourself from this?

  • Experience in working as a supervisor and excellent leadership skills.
  • Lead by example, inspire and energize the team.
  • Continuous improvement as a mindset.
  • Experience in working as a part of global business environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience in warehouse and/or transportation service business (working in mid-management roles at least 5 years). Experience in vehicle spare parts logistics will be seen as an advantage.
  • Knowledge of customer service models and experience in process development.
  • Understanding of quality management systems.
  • Experience in using and/or implementing customer relation systems / tools.
  • Verbal and written Finnish and English (business), preferable Swedish.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
